Pharmacy Tech II - Conneaut Medical Center - $3K SIGN ON BONUS!!!

The Pharmacy Technician 2 is accountable for assisting pharmacists in the retrieval, processing, preparation and distribution of medications and sterile products for patient administration.
These activities include but are not limited to unit dose medications and IV admixtures, parenteral nutrition, floor stock pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, and other defined systems.
The Technician 2 functions in all aspects of drug distribution that do not require the professional judgment of a pharmacist.
All assigned activities are performed under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager.
Accurate preparation of patient medications including sterile products, chemotherapy, unit dose, cartfills, TPN, narcotics.
Accurate and timely delivery of patient specific medications.
Timely delivery and retrieval of patient medications.
Inventories, replenishes, and maintains drug stock which includes automated dispensing cabinets.
Adherence to Dept.
Policies.
Assist the Pharmacist with medication/patient care related issues.
Qualifications:
High School Equivalent / GED Ohio Board of Pharmacy License as a Certified Pharmacy Technician CPhT Certified Pharmacy Technician Prior experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or community setting is required.
Understanding of metric system and basic math concepts is required.
Good communication skills are essential.
Personal computer, Pharmacy computer systems, TPN compounders, automated dispensing cabinets, calculators, facsimile machines.
Recommended Skills Communication Health Care Mathematics Metric Systems Pharmaceuticals Certified Pharmacy Technician Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
