Nursing Supervisor - Conneaut - Med/Surg - Part Time

DescriptionFacilitates movement of patients to appropriate, alternate levels of care as needed and has the authority to facilitate the opening of transitional beds, unit in order to maximize patient throughput and ease excess capacity. Takes physician orders, completes admission assessments and other admission activities in times of unusually high activity. Maximizes patient throughput and access by working with Nursing divisions, Surgical areas and ED to adequately plan for admissions, discharges. Assures adequate staffing in ICU, SDU, Telemetry, Medical Surgical, Orthopedics and manages fluctuations in patient census utilizing productivity targets, staffing grids and appropriate resources. Promotes Relationship Based Care and models the UH essential behaviors during all interactions with patient, physician and employees. Manages staffing and patient flow and manages routine clinical operations through procurement of resources necessary to provide patient care. Responsible for ensuring adequate staffing and manages sitter and restraint utilization. Insuring provision of care, safety and regulatory standards. Providing administrative and clinical support to patient care areas and administration. Improving systems that support patient care. Responsible for maintaining the environment of care and attending to the needs of the clinical staff through visibility, presence in the clinical areas, coaching, and assisting in the completion of patient care activities. Serves as the lead for disaster management in the absence of leadership or management. Ability to deliver service recovery to patients and family members to ensure a positive experience. 5 years clinical nursing experience required. Critical care, supervisory or Emergency Department experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated competence as a clinical practitioner. Demonstrated leadership, management and human relations skills required. Proven knowledge of insurance, hospital and professional regulations is preferred.

QualificationsRN - Registered Nurse Bachelor of Science in nursing from accredited program preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
